Position Overview:
As a Project Manager, you will lead diverse construction projects, including commercial builds and historical renovations, blending innovation with respect for architectural legacy. Your ability to manage complex timelines, budgets, and teams will be essential to delivering exceptional results for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee commercial construction and historical renovation projects from inception to completion.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and work plans to ensure successful delivery.
- Collaborate with architects, preservation specialists, subcontractors, and clients to align goals and expectations.
- Navigate the unique challenges of historical renovation, including preservation standards and compliance requirements.
- Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency at all stages of the project lifecycle.
- Provide leadership and direction to project teams, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
- Track and report on project performance, proactively addressing challenges and risks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of experience in commercial construction project management; experience in historical renovations strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with construction management tools (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project).
- Knowledge of preservation standards and historical building techniques is a plus.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering projects on time and within budget.
